Elenor Wiman, mezzosoprano, from Gotland, Sweden. After studying at The Royal Danish Academy Of Music she graduated with diploma 1999. Elenor Wiman has performed in Germany, Spain and in Scandinavia in roles as Waltraute, Margret and Madame.

Elenor Wiman's roles include Rossweisse in Wagner's Die Walküre at Teatro de la Maestranza, Sevilla and in a concert performance with Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra in Gothenburg, Waltraute in Wagner's Die Walküre at Den Ny Opera in Esbjerg, Madame in Peter Bengtson's opera Jungfrurna (Die Zofen) at Theater Lübeck, Carmen with Opera Fresca in Copenhagen and 2. Lady in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte at Fredensborg Sommeropera.

Elenor Wiman's 2007-2009 seasons included Emilia in Verdi's Otello with Opera i Provinsen, La Musica and Messagiera in Monteverdi's L'Orfeo at Hofteatret in Copenhagen, Sorceress in Purcell's Dido and Aeneas with Copenhagen Soloists, Waltraute/2. Norn and Flosshilde in Wagner's Götterdämmerung at Den Ny Opera in Esbjerg, Storgé in Händel's Jephta, Moderen in Gade's Elverskud, Haydn's Nelson-Mass with Oxford Philomusica and Bellini's Mass in g-minor.
She also participated as a vocal soloist in the ballet Silk and Knife at the Royal Theater in Copenhagen.

In 2010-2011 season she sings Margret in Alban Berg's Wozzeck with Pori Sinfonietta in Finland, War and Love, wich is Monteverdi's 8th Book of Madrigals staged at Bramstrup Gods in Danmark, Rossini's Petite Messe Solenelle on a Festival for Historical instruments on Frederiksborg Castle and Mamma Lucia in Mascagni's Cavalleria Rusticana with Opera i Provinsen.

Elenor Wiman has worked abroad with conductors as Kent Nagano, Marc Soustrot, Frank Maximilian Hube, Jukka Iisakkila and in Denmark with conductors as Lars Ole Mathiasen, David Riddell and Ebbe Munk.

Furthermore has Elenor Wiman appeared as an alto-soloist with the Danish regional orchestras with Schubert's Mass in A flat Major, Bruckner's Mass in f-minor, Bach's St. Matthew Passion, St. John Passion, Mass in b-minor, Mozart's Requiem and Händel's Messiah. An excerpt of her concert repertoire is Wagner's Wesendonk-lieder, Mahler's Kindertoten-lieder, Monteverdi's Lamento d'Arianna and nordic songs by Sibelius, Stenhammar and Heise.
